It’s another magical week here at NATGT studios, and we’re once-again teaming up with all of the great people at Pat’s Games to see how the all-new M19 will affect current Magic: The Gathering tournament play!
This week, we have two of Pat’s expert employees showcasing some new M19 cards such as “Sai, Master Thopterist”, “Stitcher’s Supplier”, and more!
However, these new cards aren’t the ONLY surprise for NATGT viewers. We’ve got another very special treat for you as well!

This guy

Any longtime viewer will no doubt be familiar with Kevin, whose adventures with the Orks in the Warhammer 40K universe have become the stuff of NATGT legend. However, what some of you may not know is, prior to being injected with Ork DNA, Kevin was a competitor on the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour back in the day!
So, he’ll be joining our longtime commentator and deck-building expert Aryeh Wiznitzer to discuss how this new M19 set will affect the next generation of tournament play, especially compared to how things stacked up when he was facing off against the top players!
Of course, no preparation for this episode would be complete without the full deck lists! So, we’ve included them below so that you can see exactly how these competitors will be stacking up!

Morgan

In his debut appearance on Nights At The Game Table, Morgan is packing a blue/black deck that’s been upgraded with Stitcher’s Supplier and Duress, two cards from M19.  While Duress will be great for keeping Charles’ artifact spells out of his hands, the real danger will be from the combination of Stitcher’s Supplier and God-Pharaoh’s Gift. With Stitcher Supplier’s ability to rapidly discard from one’s deck, and the power of God-Pharaoh’s Gift to convert your graveyard into powerful zombies, Morgan’s forces may very well rise from the grave and drag Charles to his untimely doom.

For his first game, he’s stepping into the ring with a Blue deck that’s been modified with 3 Sai, Master Thopterists, as well as 1 Tezzeret, Artifice Master standing ready in the Sideboard. Both of these cards are adept at filling the battlefield with flying Thopter artifact creatures, which can wreak all kinds of havoc when left unchecked.
