The Guilds Of Ravnica are at it again this week on Mana Wars, with two brand-new decks going head-to-head in this never-ending quest for control of the fabled city!
As always, we’re teaming up with the expert staff at Pat’s Games to give you the latest and greatest decks! This week, we have Morgan and Charles showing off two new decks making use of some of the most powerful cards in the Guilds of Ravnica set!
Morgan – Militia Bugler/Trostani Discordant
Morgan’s deck is an Abzan deck built around several key abilities. Militia Bugler allows Morgan to quickly move nearly any card in his mainboard (aside from Carnage Tyrant) onto the field quickly. When combined with the token-creating ability of Trostani Discordant, Morgan should be able to hold off his opponent long enough to get his best cards onto the field. In addition, he can potentially cut off an serious threats early through the use of Kitesail Freebooter, which can exile any of Charles’ more powerful sorceries before they are put into play!

Charles’ Deck- March of the Multitudes/Venerated Loxodon
Charles is entering the battle with a Selesnya deck built around March of the Multitudes and Venerated Loxodon, two powerful new Guilds of Ravnica Cards! March of the Multitudes uses the new Convoke ability to potentially flood the field with a huge number of lifelink tokens. Then, when Venerated Loxodon enters the field (itself a powerful 4/4 in its own right), each of those tokens will become twice as strong! And since they all have lifelink, the can keepp Charles healthy for as long as they keep causing damage. Finally, if there weren’t enough tokens already running around the field, Charles can summon even more through the use of History of Benalia. If the timing is right, Charles could easily have several 5/4 Knights running around in just a few turn, which would cause Morgan no end of trouble!
