So, we have quite the matchup today! It’s Ryan’s Tyranids vs Kevin’s Harlequins. Can the space clowns drag down the infamous Swarmlord and make him float? lets take a closer look at their lists and see what each of them is bringing to the table.
Ryan’s Tyranids
Ryan is bringing some very big bugs to this fight and has most of his points put into monstrous creatures. Thats right its Nidzilla time! He has two tyrants, one is a fairly typical “Flyrant” the other is the fearsome Swarmlord. The Swarmlord is an absolute beast of a monster eclipsing the already deadly hive tyrant. The big kicker however is the ability the Swarmlord has to allow a unit to move twice! Combined with Hive fleet Kraken, he can catapult whole units across the board turn 1! Particularly Genestealers, who can both advance and charge, combining both lethal melee and blinding speed. These units are also bing backed up by a Trygon, a biological monstrosity that can tear tanks asunder and appear out of nowhere!

Kevin’s Army
Kevin’s Harlequins are making a return for todays bat-rep, and these guys are as dangerous as ever. While the Harlequins lack the raw durability of Ryan’s Tyranids they do all have a 4++ invulnerable save and are some of the fastest units around. Additionally, they are nearly all armed with fusions blasters, which can do terrible things to anything that gets hit by them, and are very capable of rendering a Hive Tyrant into a warm puddle. as backup these units are embarked in fast moving transports that can deliver them to nearly any spot on the battlefield. Backing them up is the multicolor blender that most people know as a Solitaire. One a turn this unit can go full tilt and wipe entire units all on his own.
