How to paint Tyranids Hive Fleet Hydra, an advancing tendril of the vast Hive Fleet Leviathan that has been campaigns across countless borders and hone in on worlds from its conquered inhabitants is now poised to strike at any location they choose.
While it’s unknown when this new fleet will arrive or what threat could bring them here next – one thing remains certain: if you’re unfortunate enough get caught without protection then there may not be anything left for us (or your descendants) after timber comes complete with teeth!

The Hydra’s small size may lead one to believe that it is no match for its larger hive fleet counterparts, but appearances can be misleading. With enough numbers and creativity on behalf of the bioforms in question.
Especially those with corrosive fluids or acidic attacks-the little guy will bury you under an overwhelming sea of destruction!
Hydrans approach worlds with caution, releasing spores in case they are vulnerable. If the landing party faces resistance from native life- forms then all is not well and danger awaits aboard your ship!
Hive Fleet Hydra’s advance is almost unstoppable.
They have swept into areas of space where a Tyranid assault had just been thwarted on multiple occasions, devouring both tired survivors and the carcasses of fire-gutted bio ships before vanishing once more into their abyssal depths to resurface again at another location with greater daring than ever before seen in this region during peacetime or war.

BLACK & BLUE
Step 1: Prime the miniature black. Then, spraying only from directly above and at 45 degree angle, use white in a spray can or an airbrush to pre-highlight the miniature. This is called a zenithal highlight.
Step 2: Apply Black Templars & Ultramarines Blue contrast paint to a medium sized brush. Carefully apply the contrast paint to the areas that are going to be Obsidian Black & Terminalis Blue. Try to do this in a uniform fashion so that you don’t get any overlapping or spotting.
Step 3: Apply Eshin Grey & Caledor Sky to a dry brush, specific paintbrush or just an old brush if you don’t have one. Dry brush the Obsidian Black & Terminalis Blue areas highlighting the raised areas.
Step 4: Apply Clestra Grey & Calgar Blue to a dry brush, specific paintbrush or just an old brush if you don’t have one. Dry brush the Obsidian Black & Terminalis Blue areas highlighting the raised areas.

Purple
