Todays Battle report is between John Cook’s Elite Space Wolves and Kevin’s Battlewagon heavy Orks. Both sides are bringing out some of their more elite units. Kevin is fielding the Blitz Brigade specialist detachment, a specialist detachment that benefits the various variants of the battlewagon. A thickly plated vehicle (for Orks) that is both a battle tank, and transport. Meanwhile, John is fielding a big detachment of dreadnoughts! War robots that are piloted by a mortally wounded Astartes suspended in a life support sarcophagi that connects directly to the Dreadnought. So lets take a closer look at their lists.
Kevin’s List
Kevin is rocking a battalion detachment with boys and a squad of gretchin for troops. With the gretchin standing nearby to soak up heavy weapons fire for the more expensive battlewagons. The rest of the boys being able to hitch a ride in the battlewagons to the front lines. The bone breaka and regular battlewagon are both sporting deffrollas, Massive grinding weapos that allow the vehicles to go a shocking amount of damage on the charge! All of this is backed up by a Gunwagon with a killcanon for fire support.

John is bringing some serious heat with his dreadnoughts. Most of the lists is at least toughness 7 with a 2+ BS and WS. Each of these is armed with an array of long range weapons that hit like a ton of bricks and could shred Kevin’s Battlwagons to little more than scrap. As long as John can maintain a little distance with his venerable dreads, and Deredo he can come away with the big W.
