Today’s Batrep is a very special one! Its Iron Hands vs. Raven guard, and both of these armies are using their new supplements! Who will come out on top? Well lets take a look at what each of them is bringing to the table.
Alex’s List
Alex is fielding a ton of big guns, seriously it quite a lot. He is fielding a total of 3 whirlwinds and 2 redemptor dreds. With the new special rules the Iron Hands get he is going to be rocking the shooting phase, especially with the devastator doctrine on. In fact he has no reason to leave the devastator doctrine as all his heavy weapons, and units armed with them get infinitely better. The other pert of the army is the backbone of intercessor squads, which when taken in the battalion give him plenty of CP and a beefy screen to protect his back line. A very solid list.

Ryan’s List
Ryan is playing a spicy list that packs a ton of smash captains. It even has a smash librarian! This army has a ton of ways to close the distance, and can start the game or appear nearly anywhere on the table. Raven Guard also have the ability to field some of the strongest loyalist smash captains next to blood angels. This army is also second to none when it comes to killing characters. This army can control the tempo of a fight better than any army out there.
